Violet was put into piano lessons at the early age of 6 and began her musical journey studying classical piano; Pieces from composers such as Chopin, Schubert, and Rachmaninoff really gave her a solid foundation in technique and sight reading. She is open minded when it comes to music and believes that you can have fun with it while still learning. As her musical journey continued she branched out towards different genres of music like Jazz, Rock and contemporary worship. Now with over 15 years of experice Violet plays all across Northern California on weekly basis and teaches beginner to advanced piano here at the music lab. As for teaching style, Violet is all about technique, musicality, professionalism, and just good vibes.
