Bass Guitar | PIano

Dominique Salazar-Turner
Dom began his musical journey at the age of 14. His first instrument was piano, but he quickly gravitated to the bass guitar. His tastes vary widely, but he has mainly found himself playing Jazz, Rock, Funk and Video Game Music. Some of his favorite musicians include Jaco Pastorius, Chick Corea, 70’s Genesis, The Beatles, and Video Game Composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Dom received a Degree in Music Composition from American River College where he studied under Jazz Pianist Dr. Joe Gilman. He spent time as a Music Theory tutor for ARC’s Music Department before becoming a Music Teacher and Band Director for the San Juan Unified School District.
